My head!

so i got *maybe* my first concussion tonight... i took a 50 mph soccer ball to the head... it hurt and still does...
but i guess it looked cool, and if a sweet bruise happens its almost worth it. it'd be worth it if we won....

Baptism

Today i was baptized.
it was so great to take a step forward literally to acknowledge my sacrifice to the Lord
congrats to brandon for taking that step and the others at first service as well!!

Turning over a new leaf.

well, besides Christmas, this time of year is full of anticipation and nerves. school starts again.
i really have no emotion pro or con for it.
i can so live w/ that

Bright Red Glasses

masks in general, hide things. they cover reality, fakeness, etc... but not all masks do that... they create confidence, and sometimes, they can create a better sense of self, and add to features already present, and draw them out.

Beauty from Pain

Pain leads to alot of things. anger, depression, so many negative things... but if you have God in your life, you can move past the negative things... beauty, life, clarity, so many things that are good. you just have to ask God to reveal it for you, because it is one of the hardest things to look for on your own.

Today, although nothing super exciting, was a great day. i realized that my good moods are me, recieving Joy from the Lord. no pills to make me down, no sadness, it was God. and me. and that, was reaaaaaally cool.
